Just wanted to take a moment to thank Jon Augustavo for all his hard work in creating the new logo for The Yanks Are Coming. We had way too many ideas in the beginning and after changing our minds multiple times, we arrived at the final product. Not only was Jon the consummate professional, he was also very understanding of our limited budget and went above and beyond our expectations.
We encourage you to check out his site and see for yourself some of the amazing projects he’s worked on in the past. While there is no denying Jon is a top-notch designer, he also happens to root for the USMNT, which makes him that more awesome in our book. Much appreciated, Jon.
Along with the new logo, we would also like to make note of the new commenting system that we launched today — Disqus. Not only will it keep out more spam, but it will potentially create more of a community feel on the site and integrate more seamlessly with social networking tools.
